Takeoff #2 😎
Hello tribe! Presenting Takeoff, our weekly product community newsletter that's as crisp and flavourful as that one Dorito, which got overloaded with seasoning.
If we have to summarise our week in just 2 words!
Warm up, tribe!
We know it’s a long weekend, and you are all in that sleepy mode or probably vacationing 🏝️.
But now we are here. Let’s get this started 🌟
⌛Let’s go back in time
The beginning of an 8-week journey 🚀
On Saturday morning, the Airtribe jet took off with 50+ enthusiastic and talented bunch of learners for the Product Management Launchpad course by Naggappan Ramasamy. The session glittered with Nagga’s high-energy vibes along with our excited learners.
All the best to our tribe for this learning journey 😊
Another reason to celebrate🥂
We are now 100+ members strong in our Product Community. A big thank you to all for your continuous participation and contribution. We are just getting started. Let’s build this community together to greater heights📈
Fun Gaming session with the tribe 🎮
Our tribe joined us for a fun Skribbl game last weekend. Lavesh Dalmiya rose above everyone else and emerged victorious! Stay tuned for more chill gaming sessions in the upcoming weeks. Are you ready?
Special shoutout to our folks 🥂
Kudos! to Pallavi Gurram, Yutika Pahuja and Jash Valia for keeping the community on 🔥 this week . Special thanks to our tribe for helping us spread the word about the Product Management Launchpad cohort on their social media channels.
The next 8-weeks are going to be so exciting and full of learnings for them. 💫 Let’s go!
📖 What have we read on this tranquil Sunday afternoon?
Time for some brain food 🍽️
The cognitive biases tricking our brains
We might not be aware that large corporates and brands in the market take advantage of cognitive biases that influence our purchasing behaviour and help them boost sales.
In this article, Ben Yagoda unpacks some of the widespread cognitive biases that trick our brains and help benefit companies and brands.
😂 Meme of the week
💫 A recent discovery we found fascinating
This week, we stumbled upon a Twitter thread that taught us about the concept of powerful “razors" and how it helps simplify decisions.

We particularly found this 🧵 on luck razor to be worth reading. According to Sahil Bloom, if you are stuck with 2 equal options, pick the one that feels like it will manifest the most luck later down the line.
If you are preferring drinks with a stranger over bingeing Netflix at home, you are likely using this concept to get lucky and perhaps produce the highest ROI on your decision.

✨ Signing off with some wisdom
Life is fragile. We’re not guaranteed a tomorrow, so give it everything you’ve got – Tim Cook, CEO of Apple.
Death is inevitable. “Let that determine what you do, say and think.”
We would also like to celebrate Steve jobs, who said something similar in a commencement speech at Stanford 17 years ago, still giving us goosebumps.
“If you live each day as if it was your last, someday you’ll most certainly be right.”
That’s it for now, folks. Thank you so much for reading this week’s edition. We are just getting started, And we promise to deliver the latest from the Airtribe HQ every week!
Let’s learn and grow together 🌟
