In 2018, Logan Paul and KSI, two of the biggest influencers in the world, stepped into the boxing ring to face off against each other. This was a massive event that drew millions of viewers. Cut to 2022, they worked together to build a successful business venture: a hydration drink company called “Prime”.
With just over a year since its launch, Prime Hydration by Logan Paul and KSI is quickly gaining popularity and has the potential to become a household name. The brand reportedly generated $250 million in retail sales last year and has secured partnerships with notable organisations in sports and retail such as the UFC, Arsenal, GNC, and others.
Instead of trading punches at each other and trash-talking, a year ago, both of them recognised the opportunity to monetise their success and that began with them discussing the possibility of creating a hydration drink to promote their brand further.
To launch Prime, Logan Paul and KSI partnered with beverage industry veterans, Jeff Cole and Spencer Markel, to develop a high-quality, scientifically formulated hydration drink that would appeal to their young, active audience. The team spent months researching and testing various ingredients and flavours to create a product that would stand out in a crowded market.
Within its first month, the company had sold over one million cans of its hydration drink, and it quickly became the top-selling product in its category on Amazon. Surprisingly, they are competing against big brands like Gatorade, monster etc.
To promote their brand, Logan Paul and KSI leveraged their massive social media followings and created engaging content that showcased the benefits of Prime. They also collaborated with other influencers to spread the word about the brand, further amplifying its reach.
